I have just been introduced to this group and think they are fabulous, hope you enjoy them as much as I have. I will be looking for other clips from now also…..
This photo was taken in November 2011 on a Monday morning just prior to the collection of rubbish bins in Ingle Farm.
I entered it into an Urban Photographic competition run by Yellow pages and I am now informed it has been selected for the cover of the Adelaide Northern Region Yellow Pages!
This will be published in November and delivered to all houses in the area. Boy am I pleased to have this on everyone’s doorstep!
Camera: Nikon D90.
Went to Semaphore Music Festival yesterday, disappointed, not my type of music. However I decided to try my hand at taking shots of the performers, hell you need ear plugs!!!!
The shots turned out OK, but I could only last about four minutes. Here is one showing the lead singer, I don’t know his name or that of the band because there was no signs stating who was performing at any time of the day.
Perhaps I will try again if I can find a band that is worth listening to.
What a treat we have here for all Diana Krall fans. This is the whole show of Diana Krall in Rio, absolutely fabulous…… enjoy
Diana is backed here by the Clayton -Hamilton Trio, in my opinion, the best jazz trio of today. Jeff Hamilton is my favourite drummer, nothing seems to stir him, so relaxed….
This trailer creates an excitement to want to see this movie…..
I will comment more when I have seen it.
Last October I spent a week working as a volunteer photographer for the Australian Masters Games in Adelaide, here are some of the photos I took……..
This is South Australia, well done to the South Australian Tourist Commission. Best advert for SA I have ever seen….
Enjoy
I am keenly looking forward to this book being released soon, I read “Fall of Giants”and enjoyed it as I have done all Folletts’ books. If you haven’t read this man’s books, I suggest you start now.
In a previous post I stated that Pillars of the Earth was the best book I have read, this hasn’t changed, but many of his books since have come close……
Ken Follett reads a synopsis from his latest book Filmed by Pan Macmillan, UK, 2012, at the Churchill War Rooms.

WINTER OF THE WORLD – Ken Follett reads from his new book
Here is the TV ad for this book, see whether this lights your fire…..
This is what I call “Cool”
One of the most approachable, appealing, and downright enjoyable songs Charles Aznavour has ever written, “The Old-Fashioned Way” is a great song about a loving couple dancing slowly, close to one another, forgetting the new trends and fashions, for love never changes. Masterful performing from the grand Charles Aznavour. From his Carnegie Hall concert.
You can’t beat dancing this way. Anyone agree?
